John and Amy were professional and kind. Helped with great ideas for our remodel. We will use them again on future projects.

We are refreshing the kitchen in our almost 100-year-old home. We are looking to retain the vintage style with modern conveniences. I have shopped around and can honestly say that the ONLY person that has truly UNDERSTOOD and cared about my vision has been John Parks from Parks Decorative Hardware and Plumbing. When I shared that I needed some sort of fixture to fill a coffee pot he immediately suggested a "tap" from a UK manufacturer. He was able to call the company rep directly and ask for the exact part that we would need to accomplish our desired end result. The experience of shopping for fixtures is far and above the competition. We sat at a comfortable table with a large screen. We discussed the various items I would need and then John used his expertise to make recommendations. From there he would show me the item in the showroom, or something similar and explain how it would differ. He'd then pull it up on his computer which would simultaneously appear on the large screen so we could see all of the details (finishes available, dimensions, etc.). When we found items we'd like, he'd add them to my "gallery" which was organized by room. After we'd made the final selections, John printed and emailed the list of items, that included all of the details and installation information for me to share with my contractor to ensure that everything would work. My contractor had a few follow-up questions about the sizing of a few items and was able to quickly reach John and get those questions answered. Within 48 hours of meeting with John, my fixtures are on order and we are elated with the process so far. I will update this review with photos when the kitchen is complete.
